COVID19 Policies

2024

Hello SEAS members, students and interested parties !

Know that the health and safety of our students, our crew and all SEAS members remain a priority for us. Rest assured that we will continue to follow advice from health authorities to navigate this evolving landscape, as new recommendations are issued and as the situation advances. If you are feeling ill, please stay home and help reduce the spread of all diseases including COVID and flu.

We continue to hold our indoor classes in a larger area than the normal classroom and keep doors open, with increased ventilation.  It may be cool or hot and muggy at night, and can get buggy so be prepared.

During water training days, you will experience many situations where you may in close contact with others and will be performing physically demanding tasks, including moving boats and equipment.

No masks are to be worn while in any SEAS boat out on the water as this creates a safety hazard if there is an emergency and someone ends up falling overboard and increases the chance of drowning. This includes board boats, LunaSea and chase boats.
